Emotional overwhelm is not a sign of brokenness, but rather a sign that a part of you is calling for a secure presence. It is your inner world asking for a steadier centre to anchor to. 

This is the moment where your True Self steps forward. Not to swim against the tide, but to be the anchor within it. This spell is written for that exact moment, the sacred moment when you realise you are overwhelmed and choose to consciously anchor into the steady centre of your True Self.

Candle: Light a white candle to represent clarity and the return to your centre. Watch the flame and let its steadiness mirror your own.

Scent or Herb: Use lavender, rose or chamomile. These soothe the limbic system and signal safety within the body.

Action: Place one hand on your belly, one hand on your heart, and sway gently. This mimics the natural rhythm that calms the nervous system and returns you to presence.

Breath: Inhale through the nose for four counts. Exhale through the mouth for six. Longer exhales signal to your system that the danger has passed.
