The Reclamation Ritual

true self rituals

Your true nature is wild.

Not chaotic or reckless, but alive in the way mountains are alive; vast, steady, and unapologetic in their presence.

Within you lives an inherent energy that moves with instinct, speaks with clarity, loves without conditions, and takes up space in the world without constantly measuring whether it is too much or not enough.

This is the energy within you that is naturally curious, expressive, and fully engaged with life.

But many of us, especially those who feel called to bring something meaningful into the world, learned very early that this natural wildness could invite resistance.

Raised eyebrows.
Discomfort.
Criticism.
Distance.

So your inner world adapted.

The curious parts softened.
The expressive parts quietened.
Your far-reaching edges were gently trimmed so you could remain accepted and loved.

This adaptation was never wrong. It was an intelligent way to remain connected to the people you relied on to survive.

But eventually something begins to stir again.

Your wildness presses against your ribs.

Not in rebellion, but in truth. A quiet knowing that the life force within you was never meant to remain domesticated forever, and that the world does not need a smaller version of you.

It needs the clarity, vitality, and truth that only your authentic nature can bring. The Reclamation Ritual is an invocation to honour the wilderness within you. A call to bring this energy back into embodiment, so that when your world wobbles…

When your voice tightens.
When your truth pauses.
When you feel the old instinct to become smaller.

Instead of suppressing that instinct or fighting it, you are able to pause, return to centre, and reclaim your phenomenal wild nature.

Elemental Invocation

Earth, steady my body and remind me that I belong exactly as I am.

Water, soften the fear that once taught me to make myself small.

Air, clear the stories that convinced me my nature was too much.

Fire, rekindle the spark I buried to keep the peace.

Spirit, weave these forces within me so I may live as my True Self while remaining in relationship with the world.

The Reclamation Invocation

To the wild within,

I reclaim you.

I feel your pulse beneath my skin,
your ancient rhythm rising in my chest,
the truth of who I am
beginning to unfold again.

I see how you softened so I could survive.

How you folded yourself into smaller shapes
to keep love within reach.

But I am ready now.

Ready to express without fear.
Ready to rise without shrinking.
Ready to live without taming my nature.

Let these words open the way.

I own my worth.
I own my voice.
I own my right to exist fully.

I choose to be true.
I choose to be whole.
I choose to be wildly, beautifully myself.

Wild within, move through me again.

Fill my mind with your clarity.
Fill my bones with your knowing.

Let me stand in the world as I was always meant to stand.

Not smaller.
Not quieter.
Not tamed.

But in my full truth; wild, sovereign, expressive, and free.

Mantra for Reclaiming Your True Nature

When you feel yourself shrinking, repeat quietly:

I honour my nature.
I trust my voice.
I stand in full expression.

My wildness is not chaos.

It is my phenomenal truth.

A Moment for Reflection

Pause. Breathe.

Let the truth of this moment settle through your body.

• What part of you has been quietly longing to move, speak, or exist more freely?
• Where have you been shrinking to keep the peace or remain acceptable?
• What would feel different if your wild nature was allowed to exist in relationship with others?

Let whatever answers appear be enough.

You are already stepping toward your untaming.
